Lobsters live both in rivers and in the sea. Sea lobsters can be caught all over the world, but, depending on the region, lobsters vary in length, colour and way of life. The common characteristics are large claws on the front pair of legs but these vary in shape, size and use.

The sea lobster lives in salt water. People go fishing for most types of lobster, for example, the Canadian and European lobsters. The river and sea lobsters belong to the same family.
Lobster Fish imports directly from Canada and European countries. Canadian lobster arrives by airplane and European lobster by truck.
The difference between lobster and langouste (or rock lobster) is the lack of claws in the latter.
